Sewing Machines and Costs 

There will be no cost for the use of the machine or thread that is provided by the Library.  The following costs 
will apply to maintenance and loss of materials: 

 

Universal needle 

Patrons are encouraged to bring in their own needles for use in the machines, but a single Universal needle will 
be available and in the machine for use.  If the needle breaks, while you are using the machine, the library will 
provide a second needle at no cost. 

If the needle should break again, we will provide a replacement at a cost of $1.00 

 

Bobbins  

Metal (Bernina)– $1.50   

Plastic (Singer) 

- $ .50
