17.5 Driving Unit Alarms
17.5.1 Alarms on the Driving Unit
When the driving unit detects an error condition, a message is shown on the display.
The message will appear on the side where the alarm condition has occurred. The cor-
responding LED illuminates. If the message affects the entire driving unit, it will be
shown on both displays.

Read the alarm message

Check the number of alarms

Pause audio. Do this by pressing the
<but-
ton>
on the driving unit.

Read the message and instructions on the
display.
4.
Check if any other alarms are being sig-
naled. Check both displays.
5.
Work through the instructions for action,
starting with the highest-priority alarm. If
alarms have the same priority level, it may
be a judgment call in some cases as to
which message needs to be addressed first.

Once the alarm condition is no longer in place, the driving unit will cancel the
alarm. This may take several seconds.

If the driving unit is connected to a panel PC, users can also complete the trouble-
shooting process via the panel PC.

sage.

Read the message and the instructions.

Pause audio. Do this by pressing

on the user interface.

Call up any other messages, if applicable.
6.
Work through the alarms in descending
order of priority. If alarms have the same pri-
ority level, use judgment to determine which
alarm to address first.
