Installation of the driveline shaft
(700843) if applicable:
Insert the key (item 2) on the shaft (item A). Insert the
driveline shaft (item 1) on the shaft making sure that the
key remains in place.
Secure everything w
ith a hex bolt. 1/4’’ n.c.
X 2 1/2’’
(item 3) and a nylon insert lock nut (item 4).
Finalization of the assembly:
To finalize the assembly, once the subframe is hooked for
the first time to the vehicle (see hook and un-hook
accessory section), it remains to tighten all the bolts
which were not tightened firmly during the '' initial
assembly:
Firmly tighten the six bolts (item 1) (two on each side)
that hold the front hitch brackets (item 2) to the vehicle
frame (item 3)
CAUTION
To avoid battery damage and any event that may
result.
Make sure that the bolts (item 3), once fully tightened,
do not constrain the battery inside the frame, or come
into contact with the battery in a way to damage it. If this
is the case, use shorter M12 x 1.75 bolts of grade 10.9.
Make sure there is a minimum of a one thread is
protruding inside the chassis for adequate tightening.
