Horizontal recirculated air filter (with installation variants with
blow-out grate kit)

Remove the blow-out grate from the brackets.
☞
Remove the filter cartridges.
Filter cartridge
☞
Unscrew the screws on the bottom of the filter cartridge.
☞
Open the filter cartridge by removing the filter bottom.
☞
Empty the filter completely.
☞
Fill the filter with new charcoal up to the maximum level.
☞
Screw the filter cartridge back in place.
☞
Clean the filter from the outside (e.g. through extraction
with a vacuum cleaner).
☞
Insert the filter cartridge in the filter housing.
☞
Fold in the filter cartridge.
☞
Lock the magnetic latches on the filter housing.

Fault rectification
Possible faults are described below:

No power supply.

Check that the device is connected to the power
supply.

Switch the electricity supply on.

The breaker may have been tripped or is defective.

Check to see if the breaker has tripped.

If you use electric circuit breakers, turn the circuit
breaker on again.
☞
For other types of fuse, consult a qualified electrician.

The device is not switched on.

Check all power levels.

Open the window.
Control panel does not react after being touched several times.

The hob is locked.

The device software requires a restart.

Briefly disconnect the mains power supply.
A cooking zone or the entire hob switches off.

The circuit breaker has tripped.

Make sure that all cooking zones are switched off.

Ensure that empty cookware is not used.

Ensure that the device can cool down sufficiently
(e.g. inspect air outlet in the lower cabinet).
Breaks, fissures or cracks in the glass of the hob.

Falling of hard or sharp objects.

Turn off the device.
☞
Secure the device to prevent further use (e.g. by
disconnecting the power supply).
