Moisture in the fan housing.
y
Dripping or splashing water has penetrated the fan
housing.
y
Liquid (e.g. from vases, bottles on the device) has
penetrated fan housing.

Immediately shut off the power supply, by removing
the fuse.
☞
Make sure that the power supply cannot be
unintentionally reconnected. For example by tasking
a person with ensuring that the fuse/breaker is not
restored/switched on.
☞
Ensure that no more liquid can penetrate the fan
housing.
☞
Allow the fan housing to cool down.
☞
Have the fan housing inspected and repaired by
qualified, specialist personnel prior to using the device
again.
The buttons on the control panel do not respond, the 7-segment
display on all cooking zones and on the extraction shows “L”.

The locking function is switched on.

Switch the locking off.

An error message prevents use of the device.

Disconnect the device from the power supply for at
least 10 minutes.

The extractor hood does not respond to inputs on the device.

The power supply is switched off.

Check whether the all-pole mains switch is switched
on.
☞
Switch the mains switch on.

The software of the extractor hood requires a restart.

Interrupt the power supply for approx. 10 seconds.
After a power interruption, the “Raise” button flashes.

The power supply dropped out whilst the drive motor
was in operation. The ceiling lift hood is in calibration
mode and requires a reference run.
☞
Press the “Raise” button.
The device moves fully upwards once again and then into
the set top end position.
The “Raise” and “Lower” buttons flash but the ceiling lift hood
does not move.
y
The safety switch-off took place because a problem was
detected (e.g. faulty winding or tearing of a suspension
rope).

Noises during cooking (e.g. humming, clicking or whistling).

This is not a fault! Even if the device is working perfectly
and the cookware is suitable for induction hobs,
noises may arise during cooking.
