Bluetooth

(BT)
Bluetooth is a short-range radio connec-
tion by means of which a headset or car
kit or such can be connected without the
need for wires.
Using the
Send
function in the options
menu for the application concerned you
can also use this route to send data.
Each Bluetooth device has its own spe-
cific address and can be given a self-ex-
planatory name as an option. Password
protection ensures the security of a
Bluetooth connection, as does including
the BT partner in a list of "confidential"
devices.
To establish a Bluetooth connection be-
tween your phone and other Bluetooth
devices you must activate the function.

If the slider is closed:
• A prompt is displayed asking whether
or not you would like to continue data
transfer via Bluetooth. Reject the
prompt to cancel the data transfer.
• If another user tries to establish a con-
nection and the device is trusted
(page 109), the connection is estab-
lished automatically. If the other device
is not trusted a prompt is displayed to
open the slider.
