Class I, functional test, direct current measuring method
Place the test sample onto an insulated surface.

Insert the shock-proof plug of the portable test sample into the
test socket of the appliance tester.
The test sample is supplied with mains voltage and must be
tested in all switch positions (device functions). Please observe
inductive/capacitive circuits.

Insert the shock-proof plug of the portable test sample into the

Measurement
Make sure that the test sample is free of mains voltage.
Connect the mains plug of the test sample to the test socket of
the appliance tester.
Select a measuring
method.

As part of the functional test, the
IPE
measurement is carried out
automatically via the protective
conductor of the inserted shock-
proof plug of the test sample.

proof plug of the test sample.
Use the test probe to scan the
parts mentioned above again.

Stop
” button to stop the test.
The “
Test result
” screen opens.
