PROCEDURE:
1.
Press the number

, then the
[MODE]
button on the keypad. The
PPM display shows the dispenser is in Menu Code 18. If the dispenser
has not been programmed since it came from the factory, the number 0
appears in the main display. This is the default setting.
2.
To change the setting, use the
0
or
1
button on the keypad to enter a
new option.
Note:
If an error is made, press the correct number. The
new number replaces the error.
3.
When the correct option number appears in the main display, press the
[
ENTER
] button to save the selection.
4.
Press the [
CANCEL
] button to exit this menu code.

HOW TO SET THE COMMUNICATION TYPE
NOTE: The type of communication is determined by the type of Point of Sale (POS).
Menu Code 21 allows the manager to set the dispenser to communicate in three separate ways or to automatically authorize at
the end of each delivery without console intervention. The stand-alone option is set as disabled as a default. The options are:

Generic Current Loop
•
4 - RS-485 Fleet for pulse output interface.
PROCEDURE:

Press the number

HOW TO SET A DISPENSER ADDRESS, PLC ADDRESS, AND PLC LOWEST ADDRESS
Menu Code 22 allows the service technician to set a
Dispenser Address,
PLC Modbus Secondary ID,
and the
Lowest PLC Address
when multiple dispensers are on the same communication loop. If more than one dispenser is using the same communications
loop (up to four dispensers).
To review or change the settings in Manager’s Mode 22, press the [
ENTER
] button on the keypad. Each time Enter is pressed the
display moves through the dispenser options.
PROCEDURE

SETTING DISPENSER ADDRESS
This option is used to enter the dispenser address. This option is set at the factory. The default setting is set at 0. However, if
more than one dispenser is using the same communications loop a value of 0 to 3 is available.
Note: If the dispenser is communicating with Bennett’s 515 Interface
Box, then the address MUST be 0. The default
setting will appear in the Main Display.
