Patient monitoring is suspended.
■
Alarm system is suspended.
■
Patient data is not displayed on the screen but “ Standby ” is displayed on the screen.
■
The screen display automatically turns off after the device enters the Standby mode
for 30 seconds.
■
The Central Station is notified.
5.5 Exiting the Standby Mode
Press the key t to exit the standby mode.
After exiting the Standby mode, the system responds as follows:
■
Restores parameter measurement as previously configured.
■
Alarm system is activated.
■
Notifies the CMS of returning to normal monitoring.
5.6 Discharging the Patient
Discharging the patient will stop monitoring at the telemetry monitor and CMS. After
discharging the patient, the patient’s configuration is cleared at the telemetry monitor. The
telemetry monitor can admit next new patient by applying the user configuration. If the
telemetry monitor does not save the user configuration, it will apply the factory
configuration for the new patient.
You can discharge the patient by selecting the Discharge Patient menu or restarting the
telemetry monitor.
NOTE
•
When the telemetry monitor is connected to a CMS, the patient being
discharged from the telemetry monitor is also discharged from the CMS. Refer
to
BeneVision Central Monitoring System Operator’s Manual for details.
5.6.1 Selecting the Discharge Patient Menu
To discharge a patient via the Discharge Patient menu, follow this procedure:
1. Enter the Discharge Patient menu in either of the following ways:

Swipe your finger up at the bottom of the main screen to display the quick keys
area
→
tap Discharge Patient .
◆
Press the key to enter the main menu
→
tap Discharge Patient .
2. In the Discharge Patient confirmation menu, tap Yes .

The patient is discharged from both the telemetry monitor and the CMS.
