Outdoor installation

. All Lift models are approved for

indoor

installation and use only. Outdoor

installation is prohibited.-

Second floor installs

. Do not install the Lift on a second floor or elevated floor without first

consulting the building architect and getting their permission.

•

Dress properly

. Wear protective gear (safety goggles, helmet, heavy gloves, suitable working

clothes, safety boots, ear protection, and so on) at all times when installing the Lift. Do not wear
loose clothing or jewelry; contain long hair; keep hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts.

•

Plan Ahead

. There are Electrical, Concrete and Air Lines to be routed to the Lift Console and to

the Lift itself. Consult with a licensed Electrician, and a Concrete Specialist early in the process to

avoid costly mistakes when installing a MDS-6 Series Scissor Lift.
