7.4 Commissioning EDS

Proceed as follows to put into operation an EDS after commissioning the ISOMETER®:

1. First, search for all available measuring channels.

Menu path: 

Menu/EDS/Scan channels.

2. Activate all or only selected measuring channels. Additionally, select the required 

menu item, confirm your selection with "OK" and start activation with 
Menu path: 

Menu/EDS/Activate channel.

3.

Test if the maximum locating current to the EDS is correct and adjust if necessary 
(refer to 

7.2.6 “Setting EDS current” on page 34

).
