NOTE:
While this screen is displayed, the machine is not
thermoregulating the patient and there is no water flowing to
the wrap!
Manual Rewarming
To manually rewarm the patient, use TTM Mode and select a target
temperature that is slightly above the core temperature (see Controlled
Rewarming Mode on page 45) and wait until the core temperature reaches
the new target temperature. Increase the target temperature another step
and wait for the core temperature to reach the next step.
NOTE:
The rewarming step and the duration of each step depend on
clinical protocols.
NOTE:
It is recommended to choose steps of 0.2°C - 0.3°C during the
rewarming phase.
