Bellman ringer

User manual, Bellman ringer (GB)

Bellman Ringer is a telephone bell amplifier. It helps you to observe and distinguish your
telephone bell at home or at work. It is activated by incoming telephone signals and gives a
clear sound and light indication when the telephone rings.

This is what to do!

1. Open the battery cover and insert four 1.5 V batteries (type LR6 / AA). Then fix the battery
cover with the small screw located in the battery cover.

2. Connect one end of the enclosed telephone cable to the Bellman Ringer telephone
connector. Connect the other end of the cable to the enclosed telephone plug.

3. Insert the interconnection plug into a telephone socket. If there is a telephone plug in the
socket, pull it out first and connect it to the interconnection plug. Then insert the
interconnection plug into the telephone socket.

4. Adjust the signal volume, pitch and ringing speed to suit your taste.

Batteries
The Bellman Ringer is operated by four 1.5 V batteries (type LR6 / AA) which are inserted
beneath the battery cover. The batteries normally last two to three years.

Adjustments
There are three slide controls on the front of the Bellman Ringer.
Volume - adjust the sound pressure of the ringing signal from 0 - 95 dB SPL / 1 metre.
Pitch - marked ""C, D, E, F"", where C is for the darkest tone and F is the lightest.
Ringing speed - changes the number of ringing signals per second.

The audible warning can be switched on or off by means of the triangular button on the front
of the Bellman Ringer.

Light signal
There is a lamp on the front of the Bellman Ringer which flashes when a phone call comes in.
