Replacing the Top Cover and Front
Panel
Follow the instructions below to replace the top cover and front panel of the unit.
1. Align the top cover with the unit so that the front of the top cover is about
1/2-inch from the front of the unit.
2. Lower the cover over the unit until the cover is parallel with the bottom of
the unit.
3. Pull the top cover toward you until it snaps into the locking tabs located on
either side of the front of the unit.
4. Lock the system unit by inserting the key into the lock and turning
clockwise to the locked position.
5. Place the unit on its rear panel. The bottom of the unit will be facing you.
6. Align the front panel with the front of the unit and hook the top flanges of
the panel underneath the top cover.
7. Lower the panel and snap into position so that the panel latches have
caught.
8. Return the unit to its correct desktop position.
You have completed this procedure. Connect the power cord and other
peripheral cables if you have completed work with the system.
!
WARNING:
The front panel fits tightly around the streaming tape drive. You may have to
play with the panel to put it on. This may cause the power switch to be
pushed in.
