MAP/5 Hardware Replacement

Issue 4.0 October 1996

10. Reconnect the control or SCSI cable to the tape drive.

The colored tracer wire should be on the right as you face the back of the
drive. The ribbon cable exits the connector going downwards.

11. Slide the connector for the tape drive ground strap onto the tab on the left

side of the tape drive.

12. Replace the peripheral bay (drive housing), auxiliary housing, and second

hard drive mounting bracket as described earlier in this appendix.

13. Replace the front panel and top cover and connect cables and power if

you have completed work in the computer.

You have completed this procedure.
