Setup Instructions
1. Insert 4 AA batteries (included) into the battery compartment of the Battery Pack.
2. Wipe the back of your iPod to remove dust.
3. Position the Battery Pack’s two suction cups on the iPod’s back so they both make full contact with the
steel surface, with the cable exiting toward the bottom end of the iPod.
4. Connect the Battery Pack to the iPod by plugging the Battery Pack connector into the Dock Connector
of the iPod.
5. To use the Battery Pack’s batteries, slide the on/off switch to the “I” position. The iPod now received
power from the Battery Pack!
To check the remaining battery power level, press the button on the top end of the Battery Pack. The
power level from the batteries is shown by up to 4 LEDs. Once the power level drops to one LED, it’s
time to switch batteries.
When the Battery Pack is connected and turned on, the iPod will run off the battery pack, not the
internal iPod battery (as long as there is enough power in the batteries).
NOTE: The Battery Pack will not charge the iPod’s internal battery.

Belkin Corporation warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship for its three years.
If a defect is discovered, Belkin will, at its option, repair or replace the product at no charge provided it is
returned during the warranty period, with transportation charges prepaid, to the authorized Belkin dealer
from whom you purchased the product. Proof of purchase may be required. This warranty does not apply
if the product has been damaged by accident, abuse, misuse, or misapplication; if the product has been
modified without the written permission of Belkin; or if any Belkin serial number has been removed or
defaced.
THE WARRANTY AND REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHERS,
WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. BELKIN SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND

Instructions d’installation
1. Insérez 4 piles AA (fournies) dans le compartiment des piles de la batterie.
2. Essuyez délicatement le dos de votre iPod pour en éliminer la poussière.
3. Placez les deux ventouses de la batterie sur le dos de l’iPod de telle façon qu’elles épousent
parfaitement la surface en acier, le câble ressortant par le bas de l’iPod.
4. Raccordez la batterie à l’iPod en branchant le connecteur de la batterie sur le connecteur d’accueil de
l’iPod.
5. Pour utiliser les piles de la batterie, faites glisser le bouton marche/arrêt en position « I ». L’iPod reçoit
désormais le courant de la batterie !
Pour vérifier la charge restante, appuyez sur le bouton situé sur le haut de la batterie. La charge des
piles est indiquée par 4 diodes électroluminescentes. Lorsque la charge n’est plus représentée que par
une diode, il est temps de remplacer les piles.
Lorsque la batterie est connectée et allumée, l’iPod fonctionne sur les piles de la batterie et non plus sur
sa batterie interne (tant que la charge des piles est suffisante pour le faire fonctionner).
REMARQUE : La batterie ne charge pas la batterie interne de l’iPod.
