BPX Mapping Template
BPX Mapping Template
This template is shown in BPX panel mode.


The purpose of the template is to define button function type across the panel’s buttons
and to assign crosspoints to
BPX buttons (‘crosspoint selection’ buttons), including
defining pages of crosspoints.
The template allows the user to map router control button functions onto the G2 Series 1U
Router Control Panel buttons available in a flexible manner. The user can:
• Define button function types for each dynamic (crosspoint selection) button,
• Define the number of and the means of accessing each page of crosspoint selection
buttons.
• Allocate specific crosspoints to individual buttons on each page.

It may be useful to group certain crosspoints together on a page, and a different
category of sources on another page, and so on.

The panel button map varies between LED panel and LCD panel, reflecting the different
button arrangements of each panel type. Other parts of the template are the same for
either type of panel.
Note: Ensure that the target router has been configured with all the desired
port names before starting the button mapping process.
Note: In panel XY mode, Sources are assigned to buttons and
Destinations to buttons.

In panel BPX mode, Crosspoints are assigned to buttons.
