Installation

Utilities

Things to Know:

•

If your tall wheels are a set of Gyro Wraps

™

, special wiring is required to retract the arms in case a wheel motor

is tripped. See electrical prints for details.

Electrical Supply

Note:

Refer to Electrical Prints for all wire connections.

A licensed electrician should install three phase power to the three phase disconnect in the
ICC.

Main Disconnect

E-Stops not supplied by Belanger, Inc.

Inputs

E-stop

Emergency stop buttons should be located at every entry to the carwash. Contacts are to be
closed when the button is pulled out and open when pressed. Wire all E-Stop buttons in
series and connect them in the ICC to terminals 104 and 105.

Treadle

Install the Floor Treadle according to site specific drawings.

1) Wire switch normally open forced closed by a vehicle tire. Verify input actuation at input X1 on

PLC. Input should be OFF with no car on treadle and turn ON when actuated.

Photo-eye

Install the photo-eye according to site specific drawings.

1) Place photo-eye in a location that pr

ovides a 12” offset from emitter to receiver thru the rinse arch

or just before the rinse arch.

2) Make sure that the receiver (tall mount) is located out of direct sun light.

3) Wire photo-eye receiver configured for sinking input (NPN) light operating (LO). Wire

– Blue 0V,

Brown and white 24vdc, black X2 input

4) Adjust for alignment. Input should be on when photo-eye sees across bay. Input will turn off when

blocked.

THROUGH THE BOTTOM OF THE ENCLOSURE. HOLES ARE NOT PRE-PUNCHED.
