VINTAGE BASS VB1

Thank you for showing your confidence in us by purchasing the BEHRINGER VINTAGE BASS VB1. Specifically designed
for bass guitar, this ultimate effects pedal produces psychedelic and speaking bass sounds which are typical for the P-
Funk of the late ‘60s, one of the major influences of the current rap and hip-hop scene.

Both sweeping, dynamic filters of the VINTAGE BASS VB1 use slightly different frequencies to give your bass more
presence for rhythm parts and a leading quality for solo playing. We added a distortion circuitry to enrich the harmonic
content of your bass sound and extend the sound range of your instrument.

1. CONTROLS

Turn the SENSITIVITY control to adjust the range of both dynamic filters. You will notice that the output volume of
your instrument also influences the effect intensity. Thus, turn the SENSITIVITY control clockwise and/or play
louder with stronger attacks to increase the sweep range of both filters.

Use the DIST switch to overdrive your bass sound and increase the action of both filters. Depending on the setting
of

, the DIST effect ranges from harmonic enrichment (low sensitivity) to audible distortion (high sensitivity).

The LED illuminates when the effect is activated. It also serves as a battery level indicator.

Depress the footswitch to activate/deactivate the effect.

Use this 1/4" TS INPUT connector to plug in the instrument cable.

The 1/4" TS OUTPUT connector sends the signal to your amp.

Use the DC IN connection to plug in a 9 V power supply (not included).

The BATTERY COMPARTMENT is located on the bottom side of the unit. Open the lid to install or replace the 9 V battery.

The VB1 has no on/off switch. As soon as you connect  the jack to the INPUT connector, the VB1 is
switched on. When the VB1 is not being used, remove the jack from the INPUT connector to extend the
battery  life.

The SERIAL NUMBER is located on the bottom side of the unit.
