Put the juice extractor (2) jug onto the
‹
base part (3) so that the juice dispens-
er of the jug protrudes into the groove
of the lower part (detail B).
Insert the filter and grater attachment
‹
into the jug (2) (detail C) and push it
upwards until it snaps in.
NOTE
Make sure that the jug (2) and ►
the base (3) are seated properly,
otherwise the appliance cannot be
operated (safety switch).
Put the lid onto the jug 2) so that the
‹
noses in on the lid bottom fit into the
recesses of the jug.
Pull both handles upwards so that the
‹
upper parts of the handle are lying on
the lid.
Push the handles onto the jug (2) until
‹
they audibly snap in (detail D).
Place the receptacle under the juice
‹
dispenser.
If necessary, cut the fruit or vegeta-
‹
bles to be processed into pieces to fit
the filling neck (1).
Insert the plug into the mains socket
‹
and turn the rotary switch (5) to im-
pulse or continuous operation.
NOTE
Set a lower speed for soft fruit or ►
vegetables than for firm fruit or
vegetables.
Fill the filling neck (1) with fruit or veg -
‹
etables for juice extraction und push
the stopper downwards until the filling
neck is empty (detail E).
Using the grinder
The grinding unit is suitable for grinding
coffee beans and nuts, as well as spices
such as pepper corns, coarse salt or dried
herbs.
CAUTION
All food that can melt such as choco- ►
late or cheese is not suitable.
Proceed as follows to grind the food:
Put the food into the grinder jug (13)
‹
and lock it with the blade unit. Pay at-
tention to proper seating of the sealing
ring. It must fit smoothly all round.
Turn this unit over and place the
‹
grinding unit (13) onto the drive unit
(4) and lock it by turning to the right.
Insert the plug into the mains socket
‹
and turn the rotary switch (5) to im-
pulse or continuous operation.
CAUTION
Observe the maximum operating ►
time of 2 minutes.
Allow the appliance to cool down for
►
1 minute.
