Restore and Review Archived Data
Introduction
Archived data can be reviewed from a floppy disk. Review options available from the
floppy include review of demographics and cumulative statistics for a control file,
viewing and printing of QC File List, QC Log, QC Summary and Control Ranges. No
modifications to the archived control files are allowed.
Restoring Archived QC Data
Perform the system database Restore function to restore QC data from archived floppy
diskette. (Refer to
for additional information on database
restore.)
Reviewing Archived Data
Follow the steps below to review QC data after it has been restored.

Select the QC icon from the menu bar.

Select Archive [F8] from the QC screen.

Select <2> Review Disk, or type 2 and press the [Enter] or [Tab] key.

Insert the archive disk and select <OK> at the prompt.

Information about the archive disk (date archived, operator ID, start date,
end date) appears. If the information indicates that the proper disk has
been entered, select <Cancel> to discontinue the disk review process and
return to the Archive menu screen.
Select <OK> to view another disk.
Continue to Step 6.
Note: If the information indicates that this is not the proper diskette, select
<OK> and insert the next diskette; review the information shown and
select <OK> or <Cancel> accordingly as described above.

Select <Floppy Disk> from the QC screen.

Floppy disk retrieval provides access to date review of Control Ranges, QC
Log, QC Summary and QC Chart. No modification to the data is allowed.
