In Step 4 (figure 9) the run length is set. Sixty seconds is the recommended time for an analysis,
though analyses may be as short as 10 seconds. The Stirrer Speed is also adjusted in this dialog
screen. It is recommended for samples that require some type of surfactant that the stirrer
speed be kept at low speeds, i.e. 30%, to prevent the formation of air bubbles.
