CEQ™ 8000 Genetic Analysis System

3. Select the

Tools | Shrink Database

menu item.

Backup Database

Periodic backups are essential in reducing the risk of losing data. If a database is
deleted or damaged, only the data created since the last backup will be lost. Backups
can be saved to any folder on a local drive.

Follow the Shrink Database procedure before backing-up any database.

Backup a database using the following steps.

1. Open the

Data Manager

module.
