Preparing the Site
Air, Vacuum, and System Fluid Requirements

Beckman Coulter’s compressor option, PN C25555, can be ordered in conjunction with a booster
pump bypass fittings kit. The compressor requires a 220V 50/60 Hz single phase power supply. It
should be noted that air compressors are louder during operation than shop air.

Vacuum Supply Requirements
If conducting PCR or Nucleic Acid Preparation applications that rely on vacuum filtration, the site
must have the following vacuum supply available:

For the SPE filtration manifold, a minimum 20 in. Hg @ 4.5 SCFM (67.7 kPa @ 0.127 m3/min) is
required.
