Setting Up a Zonal Run
When the centrifuge is in the zonal mode (key switch is in the
ZONAL
position), open-door operation
at speeds up to 3000 RPM is enabled to allow loading and unloading of the rotor while it is spinning.
The JCF-Z continuous flow/zonal rotor is the only rotor that can be used while the key switch is in the
ZONAL position . See the JCF-Z rotor manual for complete rotor operating instructions.
