Analyzer Modes

7.1 Analyzer Modes

7

CAUTION

If a Stop or Emergency Stop occurs, sample can remain in the
sample probe, and reagents can remain in the cuvettes. Perform a
W1 to clean the sample probe and cuvettes.

For details on how to perform a W1, refer to 8.8.13 Perform a W1 Procedure in
the AU5800 User’s Guide, chapter 8.

Measure 1

Measure 1 occurs when the

Start

button is selected. Racks

are present on the rack feeder unit, and moving to the rack
transport unit.

Measure 2

Measure 2 occurs when there are no more racks on the rack
feeder unit. To start additional racks, select the

Start

button.

Stop

Stop

mode occurs when there is a system error, or when the

operator selects the

Stop/Standby

button. The analyzer can

not be started from

Stop

mode. To return to

Standby

mode,

select the

Stop/Standby

button. The mode displays as

Reset

while the hardware is initializing, then it goes to

Standby

. All

tests in progress must be repeated.

Pause

Pause

mode occurs when there is a system error, or when

the operator selects the

button. Analysis can be re-

started from
