Assembly with alignment gauge [+]
The alignment gauge is not included in the standard scope of de-
livery. Beckhoff recommends the use of the alignment gauge for
the assembly of the straight modules.
If you don't use an alignment gauge you can use, for example, a
vernier caliper instead.
Using the alignment gauge you can align the modules to the pre-
scribed distance of 250 mm between the locating pins.

► Make sure that the marking 1 is placed in the center between two
modules
Important
If the alignment gauge is placed the wrong way around, the align-
ment gauge will overhang at the side of a module and the marking 1
will not be in the center of the modules.
► Screw the screw and washer 2 hand tight into the center of the
module 3
