Checking the running direction
The control unit must be connected to a clockwise rotating field. Move the door into the semi-opened position using the emer-
gency manual operation function.
Insert the CEE plug of the control unit into the socket or switch the main switch of the control unit on.
The direction of drive rotation depends on the control unit and must be checked first. Proceed as follows:
•
Check whether the door is in a semi-opened position.
•
Use the OPEN and CLOSE buttons on the control unit to verify whether the door’s direction of movement corresponds to the
button pressed.
•
If the door’s direction of movement does not correspond to the button commands, change the direction of rotation by swap-
ping the drive connection to the terminal from
X4 V
to
W
.
Check the direction of movement again.
Setting the door limit positions: Mechanical limit switch
The door limit positions are set via the limit switches mounted externally or in the drive. Details regarding this can be found in the
operating instructions of the respective door or door drive.
The limit switches of the door are set firmly to the function inputs FE7 (limit position OPEN) and FE8 (limit position CLOSE) and
cannot be reparameterised.
Setting the door limit positions: Absolute value encoder
Caution
After every amendment of the door limit positions, you must carry out fine adjustment of
the limit positions and check the pre-limit switch.
If the limit positions have been programmed in advance, fresh programming must be re-
quested.
To do so, set the following parameter:
P.210: 5 = Reprogramming all limit positions
Attention
The absolute value encoder in the drive cannot be set.
Before programming the door limit positions, the safety edge of the door must be connec-
ted to the door control unit (see chapter "Position of the terminals and complete connect-
ing diagram, terminals SE1, SE2 and 12V").
The door limit positions are set directly in the control unit.
