70 - Temperature Calibrator
The Menu
The menu in Temperature Calibrator contains the following items:
•
Toggle View
for changing between the main view and graph view
(same as tapping on the title bar's active area for togging view).
•
Reset Graph
for clearing the trend lines. MC6-T recalculates
the minimums and maximums based on current measurements/
calculations.
•
Settings
opens a window for configuring how the heating and cooling
is done. The default values for both heating and cooling is maximum
speed, but when using, e.g. sensitive sensors, you may set custom
limits.
Figure 54: Temperature Calibrator's Settings Window
The Heating Speed and Cooling Speed settings can be lowered to prevent
damage to certain sensitive temperature probes.
Note:
Although it is possible to change the Heating Speed and
Cooling Speed settings on-the-fly while the Temperature Block
is being heated or cooled, for sensitive temperature probes it is
recommended to set the required Heating Speed and Cooling
Speed settings first, and then change the temperature set-point.
This prevents unwanted oscillations in the temperature change
rate.
