Generations/Simulations - 51
Warning:
Always remove the insert when not using device. Use
the insert removal tool for removing the insert.
Warning:
Never place a hot insert in accessory holder or
carry case (optional accessories). The insert must not be
removed from or inserted in the Temperature Block when block
temperature is above 50 °C.
Note:
Inserts must be heated to maximum block temperature
before first use, and kept there for 30 minutes.
Note:
Use insert with suitable sized holes for the temperature
probes and instruments to be calibrated and external reference
sensor. Diameter of the boring may be at most 0,5 mm larger
than the outer diameter of the instrument to be calibrated.
Note:
Avoid scratching or denting the inserts. Only use clean,
undamaged inserts.
Thermocouple Simulation
Thermocouple simulation is available from TC1 terminals only.
Check the
Sensor Type
. Your simulations are unreliable unless you select
the same sensor type as is connected to MC6-T. Also select a suitable
Reference Junction
compensation method. Wrong Reference Junction
setting yields useless results. See chapter
Figure 36: Thermocouple simulation terminals. Range depends on
selected sensor type
