27 BD FocalPoint™ GS Review Station
Custom Settings
The BD FocalPoint™ GS Review Station settings should not need to be changed from the
configuration set during installation. However, if these settings do need to be changed, this
section details how to access the options that can be controlled.
Most of the settings are controlled via the FocalPoint™ GS Settings application. There are also
some settings controlled from the FocalPoint™ Report Setup dialog box. This section discusses
the controls in each of these dialog boxes.
To access the controls that govern BD FocalPoint™ GS Review Station setup, the user must be
logged into the workstation with administrative rights. See the network administrator for
assistance with access rights.
27.1 BD FocalPoint™ GS Settings
27.1.1 Using the Barcode tab
The Barcode tab allows formats for the barcode reader to be chosen.

CAUTION
Only a BD-authorized representative should change the barcode
reader format. If the barcode reader format needs to be changed,
please contact your authorized service representative for
instructions.
