Flow Rate Information
The CF 65 Series Microseparators™ have a maximum flow rate of 15 GPM
on water. The CF105 Series Microseparators™ have a maximum flow rate
of 25 GPM on water. Both models are restricted below these values by
piping restriction. The importance of maintaining flow within the normal
operating range cannot be overestimated. Periodically, flow rate should
be checked manually to insure that the proper rate is being maintained.
Check with Bazell Technologies.

Checking Flow Rate
Microseparator™ Flow rates are indicated on the control panel. Normal
flows should lie within the "green band." The measurement is based
upon amp load from the centrifuge drive motor. This reading is directly
proportional to the actual flow rate of the Microseparator™. Flows above
this "green band" indicate excessive flow to the Microseparator™.
When manually checking the flow rate, place a 1 or 5 gallon bucket under
the outlet liquid pipeline on the centrifuge (3” or 4” depending on model).
Using a stopwatch, figure out how long it takes to fill the bucket. Use
the chart below to determine the actual flow rate.
