Rack Sample Handler Model 5023 Available
A new Clinitek Atlas Rack Sample Handler, model 5023, in now available for use on the Clinitek Atlas system.
This device can be used in place of the Clinitek
®
Atlas
®
Sample Handler, model 5003A, and permits running
multiple ten tube racks in a batch or an endless conveyor system.
Two Different 5023 Retrofit Kits Are Available: Bolt-On Kit or Removable Kit
Models 5001X and 5001B may both be retrofitted to use the new Rack Sample Handler device, although each
model requires its own retrofit kit and procedure:

Model
5001X
units a serial number
range of 000500 to 101300 do NOT
have raised Takeup Bearing Holes
and Lock Assembly Holes.
For these Instruments, use the
Bolt-On Takeup Reel Retrofit Kit
95002152 and refer to this service
bulletin
(
ATLAS-101
)
to retrofit these
systems.
•
Model
5001B
units with an
approximate serial number of 102001
to 102014 were made with the raised
Takeup Bearing Hole but do NOT
have the Lock Assembly Hole.
For
these instruments, use the Bolt-On
Takeup Reel Retrofit Kit 95002152
and refer to this service bulletin

to retrofit these systems.

5001B
units with an
approximate serial number of 102015
and above were made with the raised
Takeup Bearing Hole and the Lock
Assembly hole.
For these
instruments, use the Removable
Takeup Retrofit Kit 95002164 and

to
retrofit these systems.
