Pump and safety thermostat connector

3.1.2 Connecting the pump with a safety thermostat
The pump connector can be used to connect a zone pump. The TS
connector can be used to connect a safety thermostat , e.g. for underfloor
heating. The maximum pump power consumption is 300 VA.
Connect the pump and the protection thermostat as follows:
Earth
N Neutral
L Phase
TS Safety thermostat (remove bridge)
Pump connector

3.1.3 Connecting the pump
The pump connector can be used to connect a zone pump.
Connect the pump as follows:

3.1.4 Connecting a room thermostat
The R-Bus connector can be used to connect a room thermostat. The
connector supports the following types:
• OpenTherm controller
• BDR Room Unit
•
On/off thermostat
The software recognizes which type of thermostat is connected.
PWM is used to control solar pump (not used on SCB-17)
Tflow connector – Circuit B & C
3.1.5 Connecting an external flow temperature sensor
The Tflow connector can be used to connect a flow temperature sensor for
use in the system.

3.2 Auto-detecting the SCB-17
Once the SCB-17 is installed and connected via L-bus to the appliace and the system is power-up, it is necessary to activate an
system autodetection using the boiler control panel. Refer to boiler appliance instruction manual.
