Example: Parameterization of the analog output
Characteristics of the sensor:
n
Nominal process value of the sensor: 1000 N
Task definition:
n
The force sensor should only measure within the force range of 0 ... 600 N.
n
At 0 N it should output 2 V.
n
At 600 N it should output 8 V.
n
To allow detection of a cable break, 0 V should not be output. This is why the output range
is limited to 1 ... 9 V.
n
In case of error, -2 V should be output.
