c) Electrical safety
• Always use the correct voltage (refer to the nameplate and the "Technical data" section in these
instructions) to prevent the risk of injury or damage to the motor.
• Never touch the cigarette lighter plug with wet hands.
• Check the power cable and connector for signs of damage before use.
• All live components in the vicinity must be protected against spray water. Do not point the wash station
at unprotected electrical equipment or appliances.
• Do not allow the cable to come into contact with oil.
• Never pull the plug from the socket by pulling at the cable; always use the grips on the plug.
•
Disconnect the power cable when you have finished using the product. The on-board voltage remains
switched on in some vehicles, therefore leaving the power cable plugged in may drain the car battery.
• Make sure that the cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp edges or subjected to mechanical
stress. Avoid excessive thermal stress on the power cable from extreme heat or cold. Do not modify the
power cable, otherwise it may be damaged.
• A damaged mains cable may only be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized repair centre or a
similarly qualified person.
• Never connect or disconnect power adapters if your hands are wet.
• Only operate the wash station using the power cable and plug provided.
