Operation
Never use the product without supervision.
Never use the product without the end cap in place.
Never use the product in the packaging or when it is coiled. This poses a risk of
overheating and fire.
Never touch the product during operation or immediately after operation, as it
becomes hot. There is a risk of burns.
If you do not use the product, unplug the power plug to turn it off. If the mains outlet
is equipped with a switch, you may use the switch to turn off the product.
• Plug the mains plug into a mains socket.
• The product is lit for as long as the power plug is connected to the mains socket.
• Disconnect the product from the mains after use by pulling out the plug.
Maintenance and cleaning
• Besides occasional cleaning, the product is maintenance-free.
• It is not possible to replace any LEDs.
• Before cleaning, disconnect the power plug from the mains outlet and let the product cool
down, until it has reached room temperature.
• Never submerge the product in water.
• Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical
solvents, as those can damage the housing or even affect the operation of the product.
• Use a clean, soft and dry cloth. For more stubborn dirt, slightly moisten the cloth with a little
lukewarm water.
• Do not apply too much pressure as this may cause scratch marks.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant
statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
