• Do not remove or insert any LEDs.
• Do not connect the product to another similar item.
• Do not connect the product to the power supply, while it is in the packing.
• Do not connect the product to the power supply, while it is coiled on the reel.
• Do not immerse the product into water.
• The product must not be shortened or extended.
• The mains outlet must be located near to the device and be easily accessible.
• Never pull the mains plug from the socket by pulling at the cable. Always pull it
from the mains socket using the intended grips.
• Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket if you do not use the device for an
extended period of time.
• Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket in thunderstorms for reasons
of safety.
• Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp edges
or put under mechanical stress. Avoid excessive thermal stress on the mains
cable from extreme heat or cold. Do not modify the mains cable. Otherwise the
mains cable may be damaged. A damaged mains cable can cause a deadly
electric shock.
• Do not touch the mains cable if it is damaged. First, power down the respective
mains socket (e.g. via the respective circuit breaker) and then carefully pull the
mains plug from the mains socket. Never use the product if the mains cable is
damaged.
• A damaged mains cable may only be replaced by the manufacturer, a workshop
commissioned by the manufacturer or a similarly qualified person, so as to
prevent any danger.
• Never plug in or unplug the mains plug when your hands are wet.
• Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the power supply
voltage and current rating corresponds to the power supply details shown on the
product rating label.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the
device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an
expert or at a qualified shop.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions,
contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.
Installation
Only install the product when it is disconnected from the power supply.
Never fasten the product to movable objects (e.g. doors or similar).
Never hang objects from the product or fasten anything to it.
Never install the product in the vicinity of combustible materials (e.g. curtains,
decorative material, etc.).
Make sure that no object (e.g. a curtain) can come in contact with the product or
come into its vicinity through a draught of air. This poses a risk of fire.
The product must be ventilated sufficiently. Never cover the product during operation.
When installing the product, make sure it does not get pinched or damaged by sharp
edges.
Do not leave the product lying or hanging around. Install it in an expert manner to
prevent accidents.
After installation, the power cable and the plug must be free from tensile and rotary
forces.
Never use wires or similarly sharp/pointed mounting materials. Only use cable strips
or plastic clips.
Never perforate the product with nails or similar items.
If you wish to bend the product, do not exceed the minimum bending radius of 3 cm.
Never bend the product when it is cold. Allow the product to reach room temperature
before bending.
If you turn on the product for 10 – 15 minutes before bending, it warms up so that
bending is easier.
• Unwind the product from the reel.
• Place the product in the desired manner.
• Fasten the product with suitable mounting material.

Intended use
The product is intended for creating decorative lighting effects. It can be bent into almost any
shape. Power is supplied via a normal household power outlet.
The product is splash proof and suitable for outdoor use (IP44).
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you
use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged.
In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc.
Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only
together with its operating instructions.
