7 Possible Malfunctions

The table below contains descriptions of possible causes and solutions to
malfunctions or errors during operation of the appliance. When malfunction cannot
be removed, contact the technical service.
In such a case, provide article number, model name and serial number. These data
may be found in the rating plate.
Problem Description and Possible Solutions
Rinse program did not start
The rinse program did not start correctly. Check the rinse nozzles
and clean if necessary.
No water drainage
Water is not draining from the appliance or is draining incorrectly.
Check the drain hose for bends and kinks and the water trap and
filter for clogging. In appliances with an overflow, the overflow must
be removed before starting the final cycle.
Rinse temperature fault
The boiler has not been reheated to operating temperature during
the washing process or during the specified time. Switch the
appliance off and start a new program.
Wash-tank water supply fault
Check water connections of the appliance and make sure that the
water supply valve is open. If applicable, check whether the
overflow is in place. Switch the appliance off and refill the water
supply.
Wash-tank thermometer fault (probe open)
The appliance does not measure the temperature in the wash-tank.
Switch the appliance off and on again.
Wash-tank thermometer fault (probe short circuit)
The appliance does not measure the temperature in the wash-tank.
Switch the appliance off and on again.
Boiler thermometer fault (probe open)
The appliance does not measure the boiler temperature. Switch the
appliance off and on again.
Boiler thermometer fault (probe short circuit)
The appliance does not measure the boiler temperature. Switch the
appliance off and on again.
