The overheating 
protection has been 
activated and the 
appliance will switch off 

Disconnect the appliance from mains 
power supply. Remove cookware from 
the hob. Leave the appliance to cool 
down, and re-start

Short-lasting power cut 

Disconnect the appliance from mains 
power supply. After a few minutes, 
plug in the appliance again.
