•  Do not expose the scale to direct sunlight as it could lead to discolouration,

malfunction, or damage.

•  Keep the balance away from water and other liquids as it is not watertight.

WARNING!

If the scale is used in a humid environment it may lead to electric shock,
injury, and electric damages.

•  Do not place the scale where it will be exposed to dust, wind, vibration, or large

temperature fluctuations.

•  Do not place the scale in locations with magnetic fields.

Power supply connection

•  Verify if technical data of the appliance (see rating plate) correspond with the

local electric power grid specification.

•  Connect the appliance to a single, properly grounded mains socket with

protective contact. Do not connect the appliance to a multi-socket.

•  The power cord should be laid in a way preventing anyone from threading on it

or tripping against it.

•  To use the appliance with the mains adapter, connect the mains adapter

connector to the designated DC connection located in the rear part of the
kitchen scale.

•  Then, connect the plug to a single mains socket.

ATTENTION!

Use only the original mains adapter with the kitchen scale. Other adapters
may cause permanent electric damage.

•  The appliance may also be powered with the integrated rechargeable battery.

The rechargeable battery is charged with the mains adapter connected to the
mains supply.

NOTE: A flat rechargeable battery requires 8 hours of charging. If the
rechargeable battery is fully charged, the kitchen scale may be used for
120 hours.

•  Pay attention to the level of charging: if the „

“ symbol is shown on the digital

display, the kitchen scale must be connected to the mains supply with the mains
adapter.
