1. Prior to first operation, clean the appliance and its equipment according to
instructions in section
6 'Cleaning'.
2. Finally, dry the appliance thoroughly.
3. Insert the drip tray in the basin.
4. Plug the appliance into a suitable single socket.
5. Switch the appliance on with the ON/OFF switch.
The green operation indicator light will come on.
6. Select temperature by rotating the temperature controller from position '0' to one
of the settings in the range of 1
–5.
The temperature may be set within the range of 30
–90°C.
The orange heating-up indicator light comes on, and will be on over the heating-up
phase.
The orange heating indicator light goes off after the set temperature has been
reached.
7. Meanwhile, prepare French fries in a fryer.
8. In order to keep French fries warm, pour them onto the drip tray when they are
ready.
French fries will be kept warm at the selected temperature.
When the temperature in the appliance chamber drops, the heating-up indicator
light comes on again and the appliance heats up again to the set temperature.
9. Remove French fires from the basin as needed and serve them.
10. If the device is no longer in use, set the temperature controller to position '0' and
switch the appliance off with the ON/OFF switch. Disconnect the appliance from
power supply (pull the plug out).
