10.5 Maintenance work
The following maintenance work must be carried out according to
the maintenance plan.
10.5.1 General visual inspection
Procedure

The inspection can be performed while the analyzer is in
operation.

Inspect the device for externally visible problems in accordance
with the following table.

10.5.2 Checking the safety equipment
Procedure
The external safety markings can be checked while the device is
operating.
The signs and positioning of the warning labels and stickers are on
page 33.
To check all other safety equipment, especially the equipment in
the control box:
•
Switch off the analyzer (see page 111).
•
Check the safety equipment using the following table.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to damaged safety equipment
For missing, damaged or unusable safety equipment,
a risk of injury exists due to missing warnings and the
danger of explosion protection loss.
For this reason:
– Immediately switch off the device in case of
missing, damaged or unusable safety equipment.
– Do not start up the device again until after all
safety equipment has been restored.
