I/O Settings

RS-232 Out

This section enables or disables RS-232 Selcall information output from the

transceiver via the 25 pin auxiliary connector.

Use the

Scroll keys

to select the setting required (example

shown “Enabled”):-

When the setting required is displayed press the

key

Note:-

This command does not allow RS-232 control of the transceiver as enabled

when the RS-232 option is fitted. It is used to control the output of Selcall

information used by some external programs such as vehicle tracking.
