Reel Cutter Rotation/Mower Unit Up/Down Conditions
The reel cutter rotation and mower unit up/down will not operate unless the following conditions are
present.
Note:
The mower unit up/down and reel cutter rotation will not operate unless the engine is operating.

Confirming Operation of Interlock System
According to the interlock system operation
requirements, check the operation
requirement items (seat switch, reel rotation
switch, reel forward/reverse switch, traveling/
working selector switch, each proximity
switch) one by one to make sure that the
interlock system is activated.
Electrical Circuit Configuration
Engine Start Circuit
There are four interlock switches related to engine starting, each of which operates a relay in
coordination with each switch.
These are configured so that the following switches control multiple relays.
Reel rotation switch
Seat switch
Proximity switch/Parking brake
Proximity switch/Neutral
Operating outline of electrical circuits during engine starting
When the engine starting conditions are met, relay 4/starter activates. Turning the key switch to the
start position in this condition operates the starter.
If there is a malfunction such as the starter motor not turning when starting the engine, inspect and
adjust the engine start circuit.
