Reel Forward/Reverse Switch
Important
Do not switch between "Forward" and
"Reverse" while the reel cutter (cutting
cylinder) is rotating.
Otherwise, the hydraulic system will
malfunction.
Important
If the reel rotation switch is not set to the
"Rotation" position, the reel cutter (cutting
cylinder) will not rotate.
Change over the rotation direction of the reel
cutters by using the reel forward/reverse switch.
When the reel forward/reverse switch is set to
the "OFF" position, the reel cutters of all
mower units rotate for cutting work (forward
rotation).
When the reel forward/reverse switch is set to
the "ON" position, the reel cutters of all mower
units rotate for back lapping work (reverse
rotation).

Reel Rotation/Stop Switching Lever
Caution
Before operating the reel rotation/stop
switching lever, be sure to set the reel rotation
switch to the "Stop" position.
The reel rotation/stop switching lever is located
on the reel motor attached to each mower unit.
For cutting work, shift the levers of all the mower
units to the "Rotation" position.
For back lapping, shift only the lever of the
mower unit to back lap to the "Rotation" position
and shift the levers of the other mower units to
the "Stop" position.
The reel cutter rotates when the reel rotation/
stop switching lever is shifted to the "Rotation"
position.
The reel cutter does not rotate when the reel
rotation/stop switching lever is shifted to the
"Stop" position.
