Important
Be sure to replace the bearings, oil seals and
O-rings with new ones.
Apply a profuse amount of grease on new
bearings, O-rings, and oil seals .
To bearings, apply grease like rubbing until
the grease leaks from the other side.
Also apply a profuse amount of grease to
the lip of the oil seal.

Install the rear roller Assy following the
reversed procedure of the procedure 2 to 7.
Make sure that the roller rotates smoothly
with no play when the roller shaft is fixed.
Apply grease. (See "Greasing Points"
(Page 3-12) .)
Install the rear roller Assy. (See "Installation
of Rear Roller Assy" (Page 8-20) .)

Reel Cover
Due to frequent use, corrosion, or damage
during use or transportation, the reel cover may
be caught in the reel cutter.
Inspect it, and if necessary, replace the parts.
Check if the safety decals or instruction
decals are not peeled off.
Check if there is no crack, change in shape,
etc. on the reel cover.
Refer to " "Installation of Reel Cover" (Page
8-21) " or " "Removal of Reel Cover" (Page
8-20) " for information on attaching and
removing the reel cover.
Mower Arm
Due to frequent use or damage during use or
transportation, the finish may not be smooth or
the machine may not cut properly.
Inspect it, and if necessary, replace the parts.
Make sure that the bushing is not loose
inside the mower arm.
Check the tightening state of the attaching
portion with the mower frame.
Check if there is a change in shape etc. on
the mower arm.
Refer to " "Installation of Mower Arm" (Page
8-22) " or " "Removal of Mower Arm" (Page
8-21) " for information on attaching and
removing the mower arm.
