Brake Pedal
Warning
Link the brake pedals, except when operating
the machine.
Using the brake pedals without linking them
may result in the machine overturning.
Important
When depressing the brake pedals to make
turns with a small radius, obtain a sufficient
awareness of the lawn and ground conditions.
This will damage the lawn.
The brake pedals are located in the left foot area
and operate the left and right brakes
independently.
By depressing the brake pedal on the side in
which the turn will be made, the machine can
make turns with a small radius.
If the front wheel on the upward side of a slope
slips, depress the brake pedal for the wheel on
the upward side in order to increase the traction
of the wheel on the downward side and stabilize
travel.

Change of Braking Method
Follow the procedure below to change the
braking method from linked to independent.
Swing up the pedal link bar, and then pull it
out from the right brake pedal.
