Clutch
Inspection of Clutch
Operate the clutch levers and check that
the clutch operates perfectly.
Make sure that the clutch levers function
well.
Belt
Inspection of Belt
Warning
The engine must be stopped when the belt is
inspected.
Warning
If you have removed the cover during
inspection, make sure that you replace it in
the original position securely.
If the cover remains removed, the operator
may come in contact with the rotating objects
or belt, possibly resulting in injuries.
Important
A slacking or damaged belt or damaged fan
may cause overheating or lack of a battery
charge.
Press the middle of the belt with your finger
to check the belt tension.
Make sure that there are no cracks,
damage or abnormal wear.
Wire
Inspection of Wire
Make sure that the wire is not cracked or
damaged.
If the wire is cracked or damaged, replace it
with a new one immediately.
Around The Engine
Inspection of Engine-Associated Parts
Check the fuel system parts for loosened or
cracked joints and leakage. Replace the
parts if necessary.
Blow compressed air to clean any grass or
flammable materials that may be attached
on or around the muffler.

Engine Oil
Inspection of Engine Oil
Important
Securely tighten the oil level gauge and oil
filler cap.
Stop the engine, wait for 10 to 20 minutes
for the engine to cool down, and then check
the oil level.
Position the machine so that the engine will
be level, then insert the oil gauge all the
way to check the oil level.
