Fig-4
The function of sliding the cab forward is necessary in order to access
areas of the power package, swing drive assembly and other
components. The following steps will explain this process.
1 SLIDING THE CAB (Fig-1)
Operate the Cab Slide.
Toggle and hold the Cab
Extend & Retract Switch UP to slide out the cab.
Toggle and hold the Cab Extend & Retract Switch
DOWN to slide the cab back in.

Reinstall Cab Bolts.
Tighten bolts after cab has
been retracted. Cab may need to “levered” in place
to align bolt holes.
These bolts must be in place
to enable hydraulic functions.
Remove Cab Bolts.
Use BARKO 775-70858 CAB
BOLT WRENCH to remove the 2 CAB BOLTS.

Open ACCESS DOOR. (Fig-2)
Turn on Master Disconnect Switch.

Remove debris and make sure area in
front of cab is clear of obstructions.
Loose
electrical wires and hydraulic hoses could
“snag” on moving cab.

If electrical power is lost to the machine, the hydraulic
pump that actuates the cab slide cylinder may be
manually operated.
(Fig-5 and Fig-6)
Perform step 5 from above.
Locate extension bar and insert into/on the Manual Pump
Actuator. (Fig-5)
Activate the spools.
Push Cab Slide Pin DOWN to extend
Cab out. Pull Cab Slide Pin UP to retract Cab back in.
Hold Pins in place, pump extension bar to move cab on
Cab Slide Assembly.
Perform steps 1 & 2 from above.
